Mission Statement

We are the people of St. Ansgar Catholic Parish striving to be a Christian community.  We gather together in friendship to share in the sacramental life of the universal church.  Through prayer and worship, we give glory to God.  Through catechesis and Christian living, we proclaim His Word.  Enlivened
by the spirit, we reach out in ministry to serve others.  By our lives we give witness to our beliefs in salvation through Christ.

    Please join our neighboring parishes to form a Life Chain along the south side of Irving Park Road from Barrington Road to Bartlett Road. We will gather at the corner of East Ave. and Irving Park Road where you can select a non-graphic sign to hold showing our support opposing legalized abortion.


    Únase a nuestras parroquias vecinas para formar una Cadena de Vida a lo largo del lado sur de Irving Park Road desde Barrington Road hasta Bartlett Road. Nos reuniremos en la esquina de East Ave. e Irving Park Road, donde puede seleccionar un cartel no gráfico para mostrar nuestro apoyo en contra de la legalización del aborto.

    There will be a Town Hall meeting at St. Ansgar on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 to discuss The Archdiocese of Chicago's Renew My Church groupings. At the Town Hall meeting we will discuss the future of our parish.


    Habrá una reunión en el ayuntamiento en St. Ansgar el miércoles 28 de septiembre de 2022 para discutir las agrupaciones Renew My Church de la Arquidiócesis de Chicago. En la reunión del Ayuntamiento discutiremos el futuro de nuestra parroquia.
