How does it work?
St. Ansgar sells Scrip cards at face value to most major retailers. The cards do not expire and are used just like cash at the store. The value of the card is paid to the store less a percentage that the parish gets to keep. The bottom line is that it costs the purchaser nothing and supports the parish with thousands of accumulated dollars!
For example:
A store agrees to participate in the program at a 3% level. Cards are available in many denominations; but for this example let's use $100. The buyer pays St. Ansgar $100. St Ansgar pays the program $100 less 3% or $97 and "pockets" the $3 difference. The card is redeemed at face value in the store. Practically speaking most people have some favorite stores that they use on a regular basis.
Where can I get cards?
Cards are available after most Masses and at the parish office during business hours. You can also order card via the web at. St. Ansgar's enrollment code is FC15C3FD21755.
- Enroll in PrestoPay (it's like PayPal).
- Place your order.
- Pay for your order through PrestoPay.
- St. Ansgar Scrip will include your order with the other cards we order
- Your order will usually arrive by Wednesday at the office.
- You can pick up your order at the office or at the Scrip desk after Mass.
